- On the eve of the 2007 Saga International Balloon Fiesta a ceremony is held on the main street (Symbol Road) to celebrate the 2007 Saga Light Fantasy. After switching on the lights on either side of the street, the balloonists and citizens take part in a colourful parade.
- The illuminations light up the street till mid-January.
- Opening Event
- Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at 6 pm
- A lot of balloonists and citizens start parading along the Symbol Road in cars turning their burners on and off, with placards in hand, singing and dancing.
