[05/09] '2008 Saga International Balloon Fiesta' Recruiting of Volunteers
We are recruiting the volunteer who can cooperate in the task management of '2008 Saga International Balloon Fiesta'.
The recruitment condition is as follows.
- The volunteer recruitment condition of '2008 Saga International Balloon Fiesta'
- Content of activity
- (1) Driver (Drive about passenger vehicle equipped with balloon of overseas team - necessity of driving license)
- (2) Crew (Foreign Team's, Sheipto Balloon, and Official Balloon)
- (3) Management staff (Guide and Reservation, etc.)
- ※1 A driver, a crew, and the management staff do not ask experience of a balloon. Although speaking ability of a foreign language is not necessarily needed about the driver and crew of an overseas team, it is the better if English about a junior high school can be spoken. The management staff does not need the speaking ability of a foreign language.
- Moreover, there is no collection of a volunteer staff as an "interpreter speciality." He wants the people with the capability of a foreign language to play an active part in a team crew etc. taking advantage of them, and they consider.
- ※2 Every year, drivers run short. I let it pass during the convention, and give priority to and adopt the driver of a rich experience which can participate.
- ※3 We are inviting also about the game officer and the auxiliary person. I am waiting for connection of Ho who can cooperate as the person experienced in a balloon or an interpreter (mainly English).
- Offer conditions
- Although the traveling expenses to Saga etc. cannot be paid to the direction in which you cooperate as a convention volunteer, the following are offered from a convention sponsor.
- ・If required, they are the lodgings in a convention period (a youth hostel is planned).
- ・Breakfast in a convention participating period
- ・Wear for convention volunteers
- Participating conditions
- The one where the mind and body which can consent to the holding meaning of this convention are healthier. About minors, a guardian's consent is required. An adoption person submits a convention participating written oath before devotion. Moreover, to the inexperienced person of a balloon, I hold a volunteer school in advance. For details, even this organizing committee needs to ask. I send detailed data and a volunteer application form to a candidate.

- Primary deadline Tue., July 31, 2008
- Others
- (1) Although the propriety of adoption thinks that it will connect by the end of August if possible, it may serve as determination in September depending on the case.
- (2) A participating volunteer is joined by a sponsor at personal accident insurance.
- (3) In the case of a large number of application, adoption is determined after selecting based on the days which can be participated, and experience. Moreover, it may not become as desired although a driver and a crew take the team of choice into consideration.
- (4) When it is judged that there are too many crews of the team even when the participation as a crew is requested from the pilot, I have a crew of other teams turn. Please understand that adoption as a volunteer cannot be performed when no crews other than the team of choice can do it.
- (5) When required, the dispatch written request to a place of work etc. can be sent from a sponsor.
